The problem is that we have holes everywhere on defense. I agree that we need better ends, but DTs are the heart and soul of a defense. They aren't as sexy as LBs or DEs as they don't get the stats, but if you can't get pressure in the middle your defense is going to suck (see Redskins 2006 defense). I saw a lot more pressure coming from the edges last season than I did up the gut.

They are the most important position on the field, and with that in mind ours are likely inadequate. We have a bunch of guys who can play, but it's a position where we need to get a stud. That's why we should draft Branch.
