Arrington's best days are in the rear-view mirror. He can still probably play as a situation player somewhere, but his days as an "impact player" are gone. I think he'll be back here in DC about the same time L. Coles strolls back into Redskins Park...

Emmons had his best days in Philly where he was clearly a "system player". Time and injuries have caught up with him. He may not make it in the NFL anywhere next year; if he does catch on sonewhere, it will be for a really low cap number.

I don't understand the Pettigout move. He was their best OL until he got hurt. Cutting him says one of two things to me:

1. His recovery isn't progressing all that well.

2. He was a problem in the locker room or with the coaching staff which is back for another year.
