I sympathize with your thoughts on this one 56 and I agree with many of them. But I don't think it's fair to say that we struggle and lack depth every year because we overpay players, and then say that we should have re-signed a slightly-above-average guard for basically the same deal Champ Bailey got. The cap makes signings a zero sum game and signing Dock would have meant that we would have been unable to sign other guys at more important areas (e.g., the entire defense).
