They didn't give much in return, as both Foster and Bell were big disappointments in Denver and there was talk of them getting cut. I think they figured that trading such disappointments would be worth nabbing a starting corner who could play very well opposite Champ Bailey. Bly would have been a great corner for Denver as teams couldn't attack either corner without risking turnovers (as both are not only great CBs, but also ballhawking CBs).
