The Cardinals last won a championship in 1948. Dan Dierdorf was not even a passing thought in his dear mother's mind in 1948.
Since 1948, the Cardinals have won 1 - as in ONE - playoff game.
I suspect their "curse" goes well beyond Dan Dierdorf. And I suspect that insufficiently talented players on the field has a whole lot to do with that history of futility.
