The key part here is that he got injured during the seasons that he should have been making the jump from monsterous undisciplined talent to unstoppable beast. These are not years he can have back, and due to all the practice time he lost, its not a jump he's ever going to make.

What you have in Kris Jenkins now if he's totally healthy is an above league average player who could have been so much more. Fortunately for him, some team is going to pay him like what he could have been, and not like what he's going to be.

That team won't be the Redskins.
