Well he is under contract through 2009, and his salaries each over the next three seasons are not ridiculous at all for a 27 year old coming off a season where he started 16 games and went to the pro-bowl. I said this move could be intriguing. He may not be the best D-tackle in the league, but when healthy he's right up there.

The question I have is who would Carolina covet at #6? They are weak at safety (an aging Mike Minter and then maybe Nate Salley?), and if they wanted Landry, he'd be there. I could see it happening, but I don't think they'd give us any additional picks other than the 14th.
