Alright, I've got one...

When asked how much change someone has, they respond by saying "I've got .35 cent."

If you have more than a penny, it's cents -- you know, the plural form.

If someone asks you how many children you have, you wouldn't say "I've got three kid." So why the confusion with coinage?

Nothing irritates me more.
