I call for the best available player left, taking a position of need only if the talent is equivalent among the choices available, or if the best player is at a position of need. If Calvin Johnson is there, I would draft him.
We don't have a crying need a defensive lineman in my view, but if the best player left is one, I'm for it. Here's Philip Daniels on why our sack totals were low (when we ran three man lines to protect the secondary) and why they were high (when we rushed four man lines):

I think we will pick the best available player, regardless of what position he plays almost. This is exactly what Coach Joe Gibbs said:
