Tall receivers cause match up problems. As cornerbacks remain around 5'10" in height, the taller and more physical a receiver is in relationship to average corner's height, the harder it is to defend again short routes and deep/jump balls.
So a 6'5" receiver with a 45 in vertical and 4.3 speed would be a nightmare to gameplan against, especially if the opposite receiver to him is Santana!!!
