I gave them both 8/10? Not bad first game! My criticism is that the OL wasn't consistent. The 2nd and 3rd qtrs were weak, and they didn't pick it up again until the 4th. If we played 4 qtrs like we played 1 & 4, we'd have had over 200 yds rushing. I'm not complaining, merely pointing out that there's still a bit of work to do.

As for the backs, Portis too kind of went to sleep in the 2nd. He looked more lively in the 3rd, but the holes weren't there because the Buccs stepped it up and the OL didn't adjust quick enough. The adjustments in the 4th allowed him to pick it up again a little. Betts was fine in relief, and that juking run he made for the 1st down was excellent. Like I said 8/10.

If we get 9/10 from both OL and backs next week, expect the Giants to get run over like a 200mph bulldozer hit them.
