Well, in our defense, it did look like it could be about the contract. We used the #5 overall pick on him, and then went out and made a Archuletta, AKA "Toast," the highest paid safety in league history, and refused to give Ryan Clark a small raise. And then this year we go out and draft another safety early in the first round. I think Taylor wanting a new contract was justified speculation. Don't get me wrong, I'm THRILLED he's at Redskins Park this week. He's my favorite player.
