A message for Clinton Portis:

Please CP, tell the media you were not thinking straight and apologize for offending anyone, no "buts" or defending what you said or comparisons to other issues. If you are friends with MV, then say so and then say you were just trying to back a friend, and said some dumb things. People will respect that.

Chris Samuals post incident remarks I think puts him Ok now on this, so follow his lead.

A sincere statement of regret for all this is the only thing that will make it all go away. And maybe a donation to the Humane Society or ASPCA and for a real effect, go to an animal shelter and listen to some people tell you how they felt hearing your comments and show them how much a man you really are.

I want to root for you this year running for mega yards and scoring touchdowns, and even seeing you make more funny comments to the media if you want to.
