My beef with him is the apalling nature of sentences like:

"Now animal lovers on the Redskins, the firm of Portis & Samuels, is weighing in with its, 'What's the big deal?' approach."

A better version:

Now, the animal loving firm of Portis and Samuels is weighing in...

or:

Now, animal loving Redskins Portis and Samuels are weighing in...

It's seems "lovers" was going to be the subject, but then the good doctor took off in another direction and left the first clause sitting there like one of Cousin Vick's neglected dogs.
