Re: Are we the Classiest Team in the NFL?
we definitely don't have that perception around the league. i think Taylor is still considered a thug amongst fans around the league. he was facing a DUI and 26 years. Its not like it was some small stuff. He was found innocent so i am not going to hold any of that against him. If you think about him be accused of spitting on Rudy Johnson and the Tampa game where he definitely spit, you have to think of him of an unclassy player. I think taylor has an unclassy name around the league, and a big one at that. I think the past season with no problems have helped that and he is becoming a veteran but any fan of another team still thinks of him as a classless player.
Furthermore, class is not just not getting arrested. Many teams don't have criminals on their team. Class also has to do with the organizational structure of a team, from the top down. I think that the league does not feel our organization handles it players with class. From Archuleta blabbing to espn last year and the lavar fiasco last offseason, I think we are considered an un-classy team. I definitely don't think when people think of the skins they think classy, mostly due to the perception of the way we treat our players.
