If you look around the NFL most teams keep a young guy and a vet. No one keeps two old guys around in their mid to late 30's. So I believe this rumor 100%. So if it were me, I would have Collins be the #2 and then let Bramlett and Palmer battle it out for #3. We have got to get a young guy in here to groom along with JC.

What I've heard is that Brunell is just a better mentor for young QBs than Collins. He's more patient, engaging, and supportive. And, this is kind of interesting, I've also heard that Brunell is more adept at understanding the complexities of offenses other than Saunders' and that makes him more effective as a scout team QB.
