Actually you should bear the responsibility for the downfall of mankind. Eve was deceived, but Adam ate the fruit willingly and then tried to blame it on her. Well, technically he blamed God. "The woman

The bigger question is why God allowed the serpent in the garden to begin with. Hmmm...
