I had originally heard of a straight-up trade with Seattle, Champ Bailey for Shaun Alexander and I was really excited. I had then heard about the Clinton Portis deal and I was estatic, though after thinking about it, I really wish we would have taken the Shaun Alexander deal, since I think he is about as good as Portis, but the fact we wouldn't be losing our Round 2 Draft Pick!

With the number of holes there is, and the big names that Snyder is going to be targeting (Kearse and Springs), is there going to be enough to strengthen our defense? Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Kearse and Springs (Especially now with Bailey leaving) in a Redskins uniform, but the Redskins had the 25th overall Defense last year, so they need to look at the entire Defense not just two spots. Oh, this might sound ignorant, but couldn't the Redskins trade Trung Candidate for a Pick or a Defensive player, since it looks like our Fullback (Rock Cartwright) could run better than him?
