Vick is going to have to give himself time off. IF he believes himself to be innocent, he's going to want to focus all of his energy into this case. As a QB with a new head coach, he's not going to have the time to devote himself fully. His best option is to show everyone that he's fighting these accusations and when it's behind him then he'll get back to playing football.
This isn't to say that I feel he is innocent. I'm just saying an innocent man will usually fight a little harder to keep himself out of jail than a guilty one.
