I don't think we should assume egos got in the way. I think Marshall has/had a great relationship with our coaching staff.

It probably just came down to a numbers game and an injury that hasn't fully rehabilitated.

It's entirely possible that Marshall could clear waivers and rejoin the team at a later date.
