YES!!!!!! Finally a move that makes sense. Nobody hates trading draft picks for older players more than I do but this move was much needed. I feel sooooooo much better about our upcoming season now. This drastically changes the look of our entire o-line.

Another thing to keep in mind about trading picks for older players is that the coaching staff knows that if they don't scrape some wins together now they may not be a part of the skins' future.

I also agree that if they hadn't squandered past picks we could have drafted a quality guard...but that is water under the bridge. The FO seems to assign more worth to their picks now so we should eventually be able to pull ourselves out of this hole and start doing things the RIGHT way. Can you imagine a draft where we still own all our picks? what a sweet dream.
