Honestly, where do people get this crap? So let me get this straight, because Steve McNair and Trent Green were dealt for 5th round picks, suddenly the going rate for a pro-bowl player in this league is a 5th round pick?
Age has more to do with it than anything. Steve McNair and Trent Green are AT BEST average QBs in this league right now, with one foot out the door towards retirement. Pete Kendall is an average guard in this league, with one foot out the door towards retirement. They're worth the same in terms of draft picks because Kendall takes up a lot less cap space than McNair and Green do.
Yeah I'd rather have a solid LG in camp back in July, but we didn't. This is making the best of a tough situation.
