I'm not sure if this "youth movement" is intentional or not, but it's clear that we're shedding some of our veteran players in favor of the younger guys.

I think it's just a case of the younger guys outplaying the older ones, and some of the vets that were brought in here in 2004 have peaked and are clearly on the downside of their careers.

NFL rosters tend to take new shape every 3 years or so, and I think that's what we're seeing here now.
