I think kids are too impressionable these days and it's the TOs and general douchebags teaching kids that it's alright to be "all about some THEM".
If there is anything I make very clear to my kids is that I expect sportsmanship. I'll put one of my players and bench them the whole game if they talk any shit.
What I got thrown out for was the last game of the season. This other kid was running for a TD holding the ball back running JUST ahead of our guy kind of like, "You want this ball? You want this?!" and NO PENALTY was called. The kid did it for like twenty yards!
I went apeshit on the ref and got tossed.

Is their an official rule against that kid's action?
Sure it's bad sportsmanship, but...who knows. Good job on getting tossed. You have to do it at least once.
