Personal Note: I TRULY believe it is a TRAVESTY that a coach cannot challenge an interference or NON-interference call for that matter. The rules are VERY clear... its not a "judgement" call... either the reciever was touched prior to the ball arriving or not, it's that simple. In fact, I think it very well would be the EASIEST challenge to detect on a replay.
I mentioned on another thread how the booth officials should be involved in the little conferences after the play, but before the penalty is officially called, especially for big, potentially game-changing calls like those. That way, they would at least have another opinion from a different point of view....even if they don't replay it.
