I, for one, am a member of the Warpath's "Pessimists Caucus". After 15 years, and two playoff wins--I am frustrated. And there is nothing wrong with that. It is mine and other "fans" right to feel this way. We all share in your frustration, but does that warrent the "game over" comments when we're winning? I think not.
There is a big difference between being a frustrated fan, and being negative nilly. There are many more positive ways to display your frustration. IE: "The play calling is getting really annoying." No one complains about that kind of stuff. It's the "we suck" and "we will lose" comments that annoy the shit out of most of the real fans. Sorry if this offends some, but yes, to me there is a big difference between the real fans and the fake ones. Just go back through this thread and anyone that said "game over" or "we suck" are not real fans. Real fans don't quit on the team!!!
