The bottle rocket launched at the Vet propelled a "payload" that weighed almost a pound and demolished two seats in the upper deck of The Vet when if flew across the entire width of the field and it impacted there. Had there been fans - of any team - seated there, they would very likely have been dead. The person who launched the rocket was charged with "reckless endangerment" which is not quite the same thing as one would be charged with if all he did was pop off a firecracker or two.

What I was trying to say is that constructing an argument to demean Philly fans can be done in a way where you don't simultaneously demean Redskin fans for being fickle or simultaneously imply that Bruce Smith is some kind of paragon.
