Been to lots of them. I go to the Terps games all the time. They do not sell alcohol at NCAA events. I understand that there is plenty of drinking during tailgating but you hardly see issues due to drinking at the college games. Additionally, security has tightened up so much at the games that it is nearly impossible to sneak alcohol into the game.
The NFL on the other hand offers alcohol before, during and after the game. No comparison.
