IMO Johnson and Berrian are the best targets. Fitzgerald would require too hefty a price in a trade and I also agree on Jones, he just doesn't appear to give a crap that he is 6'6", 240, and runs a sub-4.4.....yet has only 9 catches on the season. Berrian would give us a legit deep threat with good size, 6'1" - 185 and Johnson is 6'3", 220 and appears to be a very solid receiver. Another UFA target would be DJ Hackett. He appears to have recovered well from his ankle injury, he's young with good size and has shown improvement each year.
I'm not sure about the potential salary cap ramifications of releasing Lloyd. But if I understand Canuck's cap sheets we will take about a $ 3M cap hit in 2008 by releasing Lloyd, hopefully we will have enough space to pursue at least a couple of the above WRs.
