Of course, they need to start winning. But the Redskins have been hovering around 5-5 so many times only to finish 11-5, 10-6. This team reminds me of the teams back in 1989 and 1990.
If it is confidence, I think the way the O-Line was able to hold up against a strong front 7 has as much to do with it as anything. They didn't play a perfect game, but on those last two drives they were pretty close. Heyer is solid. Whatever he lacks in experience and technique he makes up for with athleticism, strength, and a kind of street fighting mentality. If you watch the second half of that game again, you can see why Bugel fell in love so quickly. I agree that the Redskins are poised to go on a run. They just need to get that first win against Tampa.
