Even that decision was the correct one, statistically speaking. They were backed up on their own four and consequently went 3 and out.
When you are that close to the goal line, you want to take advantage of the field position and try to punch it in. The chronic inability for this team to pick up a yard on the ground is a whole different story, and has been for the last two years. At some point, we are going to want to get that corrected.
