They're kinda like the inverse of each other.
Family Guy tends to poke fun at Conservatives and conservative ideals.
American Dad tends to poke fun at Liberals and liberal ideals.
A lot of the humor is pretty juvenile but I still like it. Family Guy is just a staple of my generation. One of those shows everyone knows.
