I agree that we don't need a big time signing, but it would be worth a draft pick or two in the middle rounds, mabye earlier if there's a good one available. Godfrey is old & we don't know that he'll even make the team, while Blades is ideally a mike. We need some depth there one way or another.
Look at it this way, we drafted 2 LBs last year, one made the team & 1 cut, then plan for Rocky to be out for 08, that's a net of 0 in terms of improving depth, which the staff said was a priority last year.
