That Guy, I responed in the other thread as well. If Jackson indeed runs a 4.3 you're probably right. On the other hand, there's a good chance he runs 4.4 or slower, which might mean his stock falls but that he still has avg. to above avg. nfl speed.

What the combine often reveals more than any other attributes are speed & strength. Colleges frequently say they have a guy that runs 4.3-4.4. This is because a lot of them are either running hand timed by their coaches or whatever timing method they're using isn't as precise as the nfl combine. Hand timing ususally takes off about 2/10 of a second in a 40.

Colleges also have reason to promote their athletes as it gives them chances for publicity & national attention. If Jackson only runs 4.5 but has great moves & lateral quickness he could still be a good return man in the nfl & he might be available at 21 in that case. I am also wary of another Desmond Howard experience, cause when we drafted him I was so excited to see him become part of the posse. A few years later we were 3-13 & he was a very avg. nfl reciever that never did too much as a returner here either.
