Our situation is different from the perspective that our team at the end of this season was
not as dominant as at least SD last season. Sorry if that rubs anyone the wrong way, but SD, and even Dallas to a greater degree than D.C., had a much better roster, better record, possibly better coached, and most likely a better front office for someone to take the reigns of. I could not disagree with you more in regards to "...back to the drawing board and rebuilding from scratch" if Fassel is hired. The players will revolt, the assistant coaches will depart, and what is left? Going back to the drawing board and rebuilding from scratch.
