This team came together as close as one team possibly could to becoming "family". I think that should factor into the equation some. Now, I'm not laying all of this soley at Snyder's feet, but...
I mean, how Gregg Williams handled things on defense after Rogers went down, after Sean Taylor was slain, how the defense regained it's swagger should count for something. That's what I meant by how much of this has influenced Snyder's decision.
Should Gregg Williams be strongly considered for the job for sentimental reasons? You're damn skippy he should! That's exactly what I'm saying. Does he deserve it, you're damn skippy! Hey, if Joe Gibbs was allowed to buy some time during his second stint, I think Gregg Williams should get somewhat similiar treatment. Not to the same extent as Gibbs maybe, but yeah, Snyder should make a heart decision here.
Oh, the whole continuity thing? Yeah, I would start there too...but why do you need five good reasons to hire someone new, when the guys who will suit up on Sundays prefer the one who's already in the house?
