But please don't give Wade too much credit for 13-3. He was given a pretty sweet gig and stepped into that job nicely. What moves did he make personel wise that Bill didn't do? He just sat on the sidelines with that dumb blank look on his face most of the year.
I'm not sure but what was the conversation between Garret and Jones about to get him to stay? Wade is a lame duck and if Dallas starts out badly he'll be fired mid-stream. Wade just really does not invoke any thougths, he's blank man!!

Blank? You know I do not even want to go there, because it would force me to remind everyone of the blank look on Gibbs face on the sidelines, expecially in his first season back coaching. I seem to remember him struggling with soemthing called the play clock when he came back to coaching, and need you be reminded of the consecutive timeout penalty he got in his final year. But he is not a chump, and I will continue to believe that.
Again Phillips is not a Gibbs, Parcell, Lombardi, Landry or any of the others, He is what he is. And of all the cadidates available, he gives the team the best chance to win right now. That may or may not change next season.
We'll see.
