We'll then we had 2 Super Bowl runs since he's been head coach. Super Bowl run meant Super Bowl winner or loser.
I don't think any rational Skins fan thought he could win a Super Bowl just by being Joe Gibbs, but they knew he could add vast stability to the team by being Joe Gibbs.
