This coaching tree is eschewed. Holmgren, Seifert, Green, Rhodes and Paul Hackett were assistants with the 49ers in the 80's, Billick was like a water boy with them in the late 70's early 80's. Fassel assisted Walsh at Stanford, Jeff Fisher should fall under the Ditka tree sinc e he worked for him first, same for Shanahan and Kubiak under the Dan Reeves tree. Del Rio should under Jimmie Johnson, Tice under Gibbs, etc. Walsh gets too much credit for an offense created by PAUL BROWN!!
