What exactly did he do? He used the word "dude," so he should get a foot in his ass? He wasn't talking back at all. That cop is the type of guy who takes out his inadequacies and personal failures on his children and pets.
Remember, police officers are public servants. Provided you aren't doing anything illegal, they should be going out of their way to be polite to
us. They should be referring to us as "Mam" and "Sir" and shouldn't threaten people because they are calling them "dude" or anything else. if you are doing something illegal, the police should go by the book and not abuse their authority because they feel disrespected. Is it so much to ask that police officers act in accordance with the law and not use their badges to intimidate?
