What Brunell didn't have was pass protection. Alex Brown was manhandling our O line and consistenly flushed Brunell out of the pocket to rush his pass. It is obvious that Brunell is still suffering from the hamstring injury. He didn't plant his feet on most of his passes. If he doesn't heal within the next week, look for Tom Tupa to replace him.

Tupa looked good against the Patriots in the 1999 season opener. He threw a TD on the next play after Testerverde went down in the second quarter. Anybody but Ramsey.
