IMO I could see where a deal for Williams would be considered an option since we have identified a [bigger WR] as a target of need.

However, could it be that DJ Hackett would be a better option, maybe less costly, and more famaliar with what the offense will be doing? [considering his availability] Granted Williams would seem attractive, it could be that our needs would be better served by using our top two picks to address our long neglected needs on the DL.

It's not like our WR corps is in shambles, the need for a 3tech. DT along with a DE with dual ability would be more important acquisitions. When/if either of these type players are available, every effort should be made to secure them mainly because of how difficult they are to procure.
