The rest...yeah, I mean, absoultely. You don't have to vote for him, and I'm sure you didn't. You also are totally allowed, as are we all, to voice your opinion to him in the proper setting, or just talk about his poor decision making behind his back. Just to be clear I'm not saying he deserves no respect. He doesn't have an easy job that's for sure. So for that, I respect him and I respect what his position represents.
But to me his decisions and actions are a clear representation of the kind of man he is. That applies to everyone. The decisions you make are a reflection of who you are as a person. Otherwise aren't you living a lie and not being true to yourself??
