Seems we could have 3 solid WR heading into the draft. We would have gotten the perfect #2 option, allowing ARE to move into the slot. Then we could have gone for the offensive and defensive lines in the first three rounds, maybe a S, maybe a CB. We would have been better off.

I agree with you and was a proponent of getting Hackett. After we passed on him, my thoughts were the same as SS's, "Zorn and Seattle must know something". Seattle could've made a push for him too. He has been injured before this year, maybe they don't have faith in him holding up. Maybe they have someone else targeted (June 1 cut / trade). This will be one of the first decisions we can judge Cerrato & Zorn on depending which way it goes.
