It's 12:20EST and there has been a trade. The Redskins trade their 1st round pick (#21) to the St. Louis Rams for their 2nd (# 33) & 3rd (#65) round picks.
With Merling, Harvey, Albert and the top CBs off the board and the Skins need for youth and depth at several positions, this trade down gives the Skins an additional high 3rd round pick. Now the Skins own the 33, 51, 65, 84 & 96th picks and should be able to address several positions with solid players.
The Rams, desperate for help at LT with Pace's age & injuries and Barron's struggle to shift to LT, are stumbling over themselves to pick: Ryan Clady, OT, Boise St. They fill a major position of need with a top 10-15 level player.
