Re: 1999 draft, Ricky (spleef) Williams trade
We are long overdue for a great draft. The real value of the draft is being able to find starting quality/solid performers in rounds 4-7. So by that measure, we have Anthony Montgomery, Kedric Golston, and Rock Cartwright to be thankful for.
Thankfully, recently, they've been able to avoid the ultimate disasters: picking busts in the early rounds. The biggest obstacle is having all your draft picks, and this is the first time since 2002 we've had this many.
Hopefully Vinny hits this one out of the park.
