Cloman might develop into an NFL receiver. Joe Gibbs has been known to patiently develop players with raw talent. He won't play them while they are developing, but he keeps them around and lets them hone their skills and then plays them.

However, I am pessimistic about Cliff Russell. He has "Darrell Green speed" and that is why he has been kept around as long as he has; you can't teach people to run that fast. HOWEVER, he has the hands of the Venus de Milo. That was the knock on him coming out of college and if you happened to see him in training camp or in some pre-season games, you would come to the conclusion that he still has not learned how to catch a football reliably.

It's really nice to have a guy who is a "deep threat" and can run by the defenders. It is a whole lot better if that same guy can actually catch more than half the balls that hit him on the hands...
