I was wondering if any of you have any experience with local (northern va, or dc area) boxer breeders that you may recommend, or if you know of a comprehensive, yet free site to search...

thanks in advance
Being that I work with dogs, here's a few sites.

Welcome to PuppyFinder.com - The Most Comprehensive Online Resource for Finding and Raising a Puppy!

Petfinder.com: Adopt a pet and help an animal shelter rescue a puppy or kitten.

The first site, I'm not sure if it's free but the second site I know is free. Also not sure if you're looking for a purebred or just a boxer that may/may not have mixed lineage.

You might get lucky and find a purebred or an actual puppy on the adoption sites, but I can't say for sure. I may actually able give you names, addresses and numbers of boxer breeders, if there are any in the area, but would not be able to do so until Thursday (its the next time I work. :P)

Good luck with the puppy though!
