I don't think anyone really believed the only time they cheated was when they got caught. This just proves what basically everyone knew anyway. Cheating/stealing etc is rarely an isolated incident.
That said, the whole spygate thing came about after week 1 last year. So for 15 regular season games the whole league knew they had cheated, and the Pats still steamrolled to 18 straight wins. I'm not making excuses, just saying that spygate or not, that offense is unreal.
And yes, in light of all the illegal taping/sign stealing, their "dynasty" is definitely tainted.
