Once again, I think there is a big difference between bad teamates & bad personal behavior. There are plenty of guys that come into the nfl very immature & it shows in their behavior. Thurman sounds more like one of those guys than he does a selfish team cancer type. I'm more comfortable w/guys w/a substance abuse record than a history of self absorbed tantrums.

I haven't followed all his troubles, so I can't say I know much more than what I've read today. If his problems are all drug/alcohol related, and he knows he has to stay clean to keep his job, it essentially comes down to whether he's committed to doing so. I think it's certainly worth looking into to see if the guy has changed.

If he hasn't, well there's always Al & Jerry.
